Dr. Stacia Smith is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in surgery of the hip, knee, and upper extremity. Her surgical expertise includes joint replacement of the hip and knee, knee arthroscopy, carpal tunnel release, trigger digit release, and shoulder arthroscopy. She has recently gained expertise in robotic assisted unicompartment knee replacement and is excited to optimize every patient’s surgical results. Her goal is to provide individualized treatments to make her patients as functional as possible and help them be active, athletic, and able to participate in life, work, and sports.

Dr. Smith completed her undergraduate studies at Stanford University in Stanford, California, and went on to Seattle, Washington, to earn her doctor of medicine degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine. Dr. Smith underwent her internship training in general surgery and her residency training in orthopedic surgery at the University of California, San Diego, where she also completed a spinal research fellowship.

In her free time, Dr. Smith enjoys snow skiing, back packing and hiking, martial arts, and boating.
