Brett Nelson is a physical therapist and orthopedic clinical specialist with an expertise in spinal dysfunction, athletic injury assessment, and general orthopedics with an emphasis on postoperative and sports rehabilitation.
He was born and raised in Mount Vernon, he earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science at Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington. He earned his master’s degree in physical therapy in 1994 from Arcadia University in Pennsylvania. Brett worked at Williamsburg Community Hospital in Williamsburg, Virginia and then in 1996 he returned to Skagit Valley. He worked for several years at Northwest Physical Therapy before coming to work at Proliance Surgeons Skagit Northwest Orthopedics in 2004.
In his free time, Brett enjoys camping, golfing, cycling, traveling, and spending Saturdays in the Fall at husky Stadium. In the Summer months, he enjoys helping on his family’s farm in Conway.
