Dr. Timothy Messmer is a board-certified podiatric surgeon. He specializes in forefoot and midfoot reconstructive surgery, foot trauma, and sports-related injuries of the foot and ankle. As a podiatrist, he sees patients who are often debilitated with both chronic and acute foot and ankle problems. His goal is to work together with the patient, using the most advanced treatment methods and surgical procedures available, to return them to an active lifestyle as quickly as possible.
Dr. Messmer received his bachelor of science degree in biology from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Following his undergraduate studies, he earned his medical degree from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, Ohio. Dr. Messmer then continued his medical training in podiatric surgery by completing the residency program at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, Washington.
Dr. Messmer is a fellow of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the past president of the Washington State Podiatric Medical Association.
