Thursday, August 20, 2015 was a grand day for seniors to enjoy vendors related to seniors at Maiben Park in Burlington. The day began with Greetings from Don Wick, Executive Director of EDASC; entertainment by Marcia Kester, which many enjoyed dancing and singing along with; excellent performances by students of the Skagit Valley Academy of Dance and a delicious sack lunch provided to all who attended.
On July 9th, 2015, three busloads of employees, friends and family of Skagit Northwest Orthopedics, Cascade Ear, Nose, & Throat, and Proliance Surgical Specialists of Edmonds, ventured to a winning performance by the Mariners! A beautiful summer evening with food, refreshments and fun was enjoyed by all.
Outpatient surgeries continue at Mount Vernon location
Seattle, Wash., April 16, 2015 – Skagit Northwest Orthopedics announced today that Island Hospital, located in Anacortes, Wash., will now be the primary inpatient site for orthopedic surgical care of its patients.
It was a typical day for a child with Caden’s wild imagination. Little boys are full of fearlessness, and Caden wasn’t any different. The brave little boy climbed above his tree fort onto higher branches until they couldn’t hold his weight anymore, and down he went! Caden took a big fall and was in need of immediate medical attention.
Richard Hayton had always been an active person. He had spent years as a farmer, growing strawberries, blueberries and cucumbers. Then he got a job at an oil refinery, where he had a physically-demanding job.
Bernadine Rogstad has spent her life taking care of others. She ran a daycare, was the head RN at a nursing home, and served as a caregiver for elderly members in her family. But everything changed in 2008. At age 51, she suffered a series of strokes over a six-month period that left her disabled and in need of care.
